Bill Floyd

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Floyd became Chairman and CEO of Physiotherapy Associates in December 2006 succeeding Lance Piccolo who remains on the Board.  Prior to Physiotherapy Associates, Mr. Floyd was Chairman, President and CEO of Beverly Enterprises, Inc., a leading provider of eldercare services in the U.S. with $2.2 billion in revenue.  Under his leadership the company had completed a major turnaround in operating and financial results and was sold to a private equity firm in March of 2006.

Before joining Beverly, Mr. Floyd was President and CEO of Choice Hotels International, the second largest franchisor of lodging facilities with system sales of $4 billion; he also held previous management positions as Chief Operating Officer of both Taco Bell and Kentucky Fried Chicken.  Mr. Floyd began his career in brand management with Gillette and subsequently with Pillsbury where he eventually became VP of Marketing for Bennigan’s Restaurants.  He holds an A.B. Degree in American Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA Degree from The Wharton School.
